UPSC Exam Changes – PMO Proposes to allocate posts after training
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is going to change the way of candidates are allocated services like IAS or IPS and others. The government is right now analyzing all the possibility to change the way services like IAS or IPS are allocated. Many retired, serving, and aspiring civil servants are not happy with the new IAS/IPS allocation proposal. So Govt now taking a good action over it.
PMO wants to count Foundation Course Marks in addition to UPSC Civil Services Exam Marks!
Presently, the services are allocated like IAS, IPS etc on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the civil services exam which conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).
If the proposal is accepted so in the civil services examination scoring high is not enough to get into IAS, IPS & IFS.
